Impact Area: Environment, Human Capital, Social Sustainability
Grow & Learn Gardens provides engaging hands-on, outdoor edible experiences. This program facilitates a stimulating and guided outdoor learning environment designed to meet its family's cultural and food needs. We create vegetables, herbs, and or fruit gardens with them, teaching families the skills needed for a sustainable producing home garden.
Our Grow & Learn Gardens also provide children and youth an opportunity to reinforce academic learning. In addition, with children learning from home, due to COVID-19, implementing Grow & Learn Gardens facilitates physical activity and quality outdoor experiences.
Also, subscribing to our Noggin Sproutz Grow & Learn Club, parents will have access to academic resources to reinforce learning; Math, Science, Social Studies, and more!
