Teen CERT

Teen CERT is a certification program for teens between ages 15 to 18. Participants learn disaster preparedness to counter potential hazards in their environment as well as training for primary disaster response. They will learn how to conduct a light search and rescue, fire safety, simple triage, and to organize a team. Teen CERT requires active participation in real-life scenarios. They will practice and put the skills learned in class into real life application. Teen CERT is an ideal program for youth interested in health care, rescue, or other support services as a career path.
