Build it Grow it
Families will create a raised bed together. This hands-on family event, provides instruction and guidance for constructing a three by four raised grow bed. Families will learn all the components needed to maintain their raised bed and receive information on how to plant and grow vegetables and herbs.
COST : $100 per family ( max 4)
First Aid & CPR Training
Children as young as nine years old can save a life. Join us for a comprehensive medical skill training where participants will earn the skills necessary to apply the breaths of life, primary wound care, and more. CPR Certification is optional for an additional fee.

Backyard Foraging
Florida has a variety of edible wild plants that may be in your very own backyard! Many people identify plants as “weeds” when they are in fact medicinal and edible plants. This workshop will teach participants how to identify Florida’s native plants. You will learn what is suitable to eat , what is good for medicinal purposes and what to stay away from.
COST : $25 per person
Family Resiliency Training
Emergencies and disasters can and do happen at any time.. Every member of your family can help prepare. In this three day family training, participants will learn what to do before, during and after an emergency.
COST : $50 per family (max 4)
